Francis August Schaeffer was born on January 30, 1912 in the small town of Germantown, Pennsylvania. His life, books and Switzerland-based ministry L’Abri have had immense and wide-ranging impact on this generation. Schaeffer was known not just for his academic knowledge, but also his ability to answer difficult questions with personal and applicable ‘real knowledge’. He had the keen ability to relay the truth to the most skeptical people groups.
