AuthorOs Guinness, is the author and editor of more than thirty books, including Fool's Talk, Renaissance, The Global Public Square, A Free People's Suicide, Unspeakable, The Call, Time for Truth, The Case for Civility and his most recent book, Zero Hour America. A frequent speaker and prominent social critic, he has addressed audiences worldwide from the British House of Commons to the U.S. Congress to the St. Petersburg Parliament. Guinness has had a lifelong passion to make sense of our extraordinary modern world and to stand between the worlds of scholarship and ordinary life, helping each to understand the other - particularly when advanced modern life touches on the profound issues of faith. Robert Rutledge, Professor, (1936-2021) attended George Washington University and the University of Virginia. He served in the Army in the 44th Tank Battalion in the Pacific theater, earning two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts. He earned a master's degree in literature at GWU and a doctorate degree from GWU in English literature and criticism in 1964. Mr. Rutledge became an associate professor of English literature at GWU, serving for a time as the director of the off-campus division. He also was the associate dean of GWU's Columbia College of Arts and Sciences.

Professor
Paul Holmer, (1916–2004) was first a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota and then a Noah Porter Professor of Philosophical Theology at Yale Divinity School. Holmer is perhaps best known for his essays in The Grammar of Faith (1978), he still wrote original essays, some published but many unpublished, which circulated widely in typescript during his tenure at Yale. In 2005 his family donated his papers to the Yale Divinity School Library; in reviewing Holmer's papers, the editors have chosen a selection of his most seminal essays, beyond those in The Grammar of Faith, demonstrating the breadth and range of his contributions.

Pastor
Billy Graham, Pastor, was an American evangelist (1918 – 2018), a prominent evangelical Christian figure, and an ordained Southern Baptist minister who became well-known internationally in the late 1940s. It has been said that Billy Graham is "among the most influential Christian leaders" of the 20th century. He held large indoor and outdoor rallies with sermons that were broadcast on radio and television; some were still being re-broadcast today. In his six decades on television, Graham hosted annual "Crusades", evangelistic campaigns that ran from 1947 until his retirement in 2005. Graham was a spiritual adviser to U.S. presidents, and he provided spiritual counsel for every president from Harry S. Truman to Barack Obama.
