Gary Stewart

Gary Stewart, CSLI City Director, is the Director of the CS Lewis Institute in Charlotte, NC. He has a passion for helping other fellow followers of Jesus Christ to develop a deeper love for Him and to encourage one another to live powerfully, purposefully, and effectively for Him in a world that desperately needs to know and to love Christ as Lord of their lives. Gary has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Geneva College and both a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from Western Seminary (Portland, OR). He served twelve years in the pastoral ministry. He also invested twenty-five years in business, serving in various management roles in the area of Project Controls related to construction projects both in the public and government sectors. Gary is married to Patti, the father of seven adult children and grandfather to sixteen grandchildren.
