Joni Eareckson Tada, Joni Eareckson Tada, Speaker, is an internationally known artist, vocalist, radio host, an author and an advocate for disabled persons worldwide. She has written several books including Holiness in Hidden Places, Heaven: Your Real Home and The God I Love. Joni founded Wheels for the World, a ministry which involves restoring wheelchairs and distributing them in developing nations. In 1979, Joni began “Joni and Friends Ministries” (JAF Ministries), fulfilling the mandate of Jesus in Luke 14:13,23. “Joni and Friends,” is a daily five-minute radio program reaching over one million listeners a week for hundreds of special need families across the United States. Joni has a heart for people who, like herself, must live with disabilities.
