AuthorOs Guinness, is the author and editor of more than thirty books, including Fool's Talk, Renaissance, The Global Public Square, A Free People's Suicide, Unspeakable, The Call, Time for Truth, The Case for Civility and his most recent book, Zero Hour America. A frequent speaker and prominent social critic, he has addressed audiences worldwide from the British House of Commons to the U.S. Congress to the St. Petersburg Parliament. Guinness has had a lifelong passion to make sense of our extraordinary modern world and to stand between the worlds of scholarship and ordinary life, helping each to understand the other - particularly when advanced modern life touches on the profound issues of faith. Peter Jones, is the Associate Pastor at New Life Presbyterian Church in Escondido, CA, Director of truthXchange and Scholar in Residence at Westminster Seminary, CA. He completed his graduate studies at Gordon Divinity School, Harvard Divinity School and Princeton Seminary. He has been addressing what has now become the “spiritual but not religious” movement that has so heavily influenced the upcoming generations. He has authored several books including Stolen Identity (2006), The God of Sex (2006), One or Two: Seeing a World of Difference (2010) and The Other Worldview (2015.)

Professor, CSLI Co-Founder, Senior Fellow for Faith and Vocation, CSLIJames M. Houston is a co-founder of the C.S. Lewis Institute.  From its beginning, Jim has served as a Senior Fellow of the Institute, lecturing at CSLI events over the past four decades. He received his Bachelor of Science and M.A. degrees from the University of Edinburgh and a D. Phil. from Oxford University.  He was a University Lecturer at Oxford from 1947 – 1971 where he taught cultural and historical geography.  While teaching at Oxford, he met C.S. Lewis and participated in a regular Bible study with him for six years. He is known as one of the “founding fathers” of Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia where he has served as the first Principal, Chancellor and Professor of Spiritual Theology.

Richard Lovelace, (1931 – 2020) was professor emeritus of church history at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He authored many books, most notably: Dynamics of a Spiritual Life, Homosexuality and the Church, and The American Pietism of Cotton Mather. Lovelace was primarily interested in the subjects of spiritual awakening, revival, and renewal in the Church. He has also authored numerous articles in addition to his books. Lovelace received his ThD from Princeton Theological Seminary.

Charles Malik

Charles Malik, (1906 – 1987) was a Lebanese academic, diplomat, philosopher, and theologian. He attended The American University of Beirut, graduating with a degree in mathematics and physics. He went on to study philosophy at Harvard (where he received his PhD) and in Freiburg, Germany. Malik is known for his role in the UN – as he signed the founding charter of the United Nations and one of the UN’s greatest documents, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. He completed his academic career as the Jacques Maritain Distinguished Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the Catholic University of America, in Washington, DC. He is the author of The Two Tasks, focusing on the Church’s passion of both evangelism and intellectualism.
