Charles Stanley

Charles Stanley, is Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, after serving as senior pastor for 51 years. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1977, Stanley founded In Touch Ministries with the mission to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church. He has published many books as a pastor over his professional career, including The Source of My Strength, Gift of the Cross: Embracing the Promise of the Resurrection, Deepening Your Prayer Life and The Gift of Forgiveness.
