Riz Crescini is the Director of the C.S. Lewis Institute in Japan. Originally from Chicago, he is a long-time resident of Japan serving in a rural church as deacon, teacher, and worship leader. Riz is a university adjunct lecturer and an instructor for the Reaching Japanese for Christ Academy. He has a deep interest in discipleship, worldview training, worship, and apologetics. Riz holds a B.A. in East Asian Language and Culture (University of Illinois) and an M.A. in Cultural Apologetics (Houston Christian University). Riz is also a commissioned Colson Fellow. Riz has been married for 25 years to his beautiful and talented wife, Anne. They have three teen-aged children and one skittish cat.
