SPIRITUAL RENEWAL AND PRAYER
(WITH CHARLES MALIK)
In this stimulating talk, Prof. Malik suggests several critical elements that he considers essential for spiritual renewal. First and most important is for one to return to their Christian roots, by this he means the Christian Classics, i.e., Ignatius of Antioch, St. Augustine, Jonathan Edwards, etc. Second, the bible, which is the source of genuine revival. Other components include community with other churches, the need for suffering, dealing with the obsession with sexuality, prayer, the bible, and more.
This is a Legacy Audio recording drawn from a collection of free audio resources over the last 30+ years featuring themes which are still relevant today. Due to the archival nature of the recordings, some of the audio content may not be up to today's digital standards, but nonetheless, the content is still applicable.
