Discovering the Freedom of Humility
We live in a culture that elevates the self and human achievement, and feeds on the exaggeration of a person's real worth and truth. This can often become exhausting and lonely. Jesus offers us a radical alternative that is both liberating and transformative. Someone has said that humility is the downward disposition of a Godward self-perception.
Join CSLI Toronto and Dr. Tom Schwanda as we examine the nature and characteristics of humility, and challenges of living a humble life amid all the loud voices encouraging pride. The good news is that the benefit of humility produces freedom, joy, and the ability to discover how to live a more fulfilling life. Our time together will include practical exercises to grow in greater humility with the assistance of the Holy Spirit.
