As long as God's will lines up with our own wishes, everything is fine with us. But when our personal goals collide with God's will, we truly learn what His Lordship over us means. Until we see Him lay His hand on what is most important to us, His Lordship is a lofty but empty theory.

General PractionerWolfgang Hasselkus, General Practioner, is a medical doctor in Rödental, Germany, where he is active in civic leadership and senior citizen advocacy. He serves on his local church council and preaches in the Bavarian State Church. Wolfgang has published a book titled Double-life: Christians in the field of tension in the world (translated from German). He has established three eye health camps in Thailand and Burma and built jungle clinics and orphanages in war zones there. He also served internationally with the Navigators. His honors include the Cross of Merit with Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bavarian State Medal for Social Merit and the Decoration of Honor with Ribbon of the Bavarian Red Cross in 2007.
